Abstract

This study examined the art of matching in the poetry of Mohamed Omar El Fal. The study aimed to uncover the forms of matching in his poetry and highlight their rhetorical value, as well as to contribute to the revival and authentication of the Chadian Arab heritage through scientific study and analysis. The researcher used the descriptive analytical and inductive approaches. the study concluded that the poet Mohamed Omar El Fal possesses refined taste, a strong style, and a solid poetic language aided by his mastery of the language and his extensive culture. The forms of matching in his poetry ware varied, the most prominent of which was the positive matching, and most of the examples of matching ware in real world. The use of matching in his poetry was not contrived, and the poet avoided complex forms of matching. Most of the matching in his poetry occurred between two verbs, while matching between two letters was rare.
