The research addresses the phenomenon of drug abuse and psychotropic substances in Libya as one of the most prominent challenges threatening society, highlighting the criminal and strategic aspects of Libyan legislation. The research discusses the close relationship between drug abuse and the high rates of violent and financial crimes, such as theft and bribery, and emphasizes the importance of criminal and alternative penalties in confronting For this phenomenon, the research points to gaps in Libyan legislation Especially in the face of digital and manufactured drugs, and stresses the need to update laws to keep pace with modern developments.
