With the continuous evolution of construction requirements and engineering challenges, the need to improve concrete properties to meet these demands has become essential. This has led to the necessity of using admixtures in concrete production, where these materials are added in specific proportions to enhance workability and achieve high-strength concrete. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of adding superplasticizers on the properties of fresh and hardened concrete. The superplasticizers Sikament-N and SR-200 were used at a fixed ratio of 1.2% by weight of cement. Three different sources of fine aggregate were used to prepare the concrete mixes, and the experiments included nine concrete mixes, one of which was a control mix without superplasticizers. Workability and compressive strength were tested at different ages (7, 14, and 28 days). The results of these tests showed that the superplasticizers improved workability (slump) and achieved a significant improvement in compressive strength, particularly at 28 days.
