The Impact of Servant Leadership on Employee Empowerment: A Field Study on Employees in Public Administration at the University of Benghazi

The study aimed to identify the impact of servant leadership on employee empowerment from the point of view of employees in public administration at the University of Benghazi, To achieve the goal of the study, the researchers followed the descriptive analytical approach, and the study population consisted of all employees of the public administration at the University of Benghazi, who numbered (884) workers. A stratified random sample of (269) workers was chosen, and a questionnaire was designed to collect data, and it was transcribed and analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences program(spss). This study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: that the degree of practicing servant leadership from the respondents’ point of view was high, and that the level of employee empowerment from the employees’ point of view was high. It showed that there was a statistically significant effect between the two variables of the study in the public administration under study.
