Human Resource Recruitment Policies and Their Impact on Job Performance: A Field Study at Tarhuna Teaching Hospital

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the human resource recruitment policies and their impact on job performance at Tarhuna Teaching Hospital. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach due to its suitability for the nature of the research topic. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (70) employees, of which (60) valid questionnaires were retrieved and analyzed. The study reached several findings, the most important of which was the existence of a statistically significant effect of human resource recruitment policies on job performance at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05). The study also presented several recommendations, including the need for the hospital administration to continue identifying staffing needs and the required educational qualifications, as well as applying scientific methods in employee selection to ensure compatibility with available job vacancies. In addition, the study recommended providing incentives and promotion opportunities for outstanding employees to ensure continuous performance development
