Abstract

This paper investigates the existence and uniqueness of fixed points and common fixed points for self-mappings in complete extended b2-metric spaces. We generalize the results of Samet et al. by introducing -contractive mappings in the setting of extended b2-metric spaces. We establish several fixed point theorems for single mappings, pairs of mappings, and families of self-mappings. Our results extend and unify recent results in the literature on extended b-metric spaces and b2-metric spaces. Examples are provided to illustrate the obtained results.
