Difficulties of Teaching Science in the Education Stage Basic in Some Schools of Zliten City Branch

Abstract

This research aims to identify the difficulties of teaching science at the basic education stage in some schools in Zliten city, The descriptive analytical approach was used, A questionnaire was used as the instrument for this research, as it consisted of 4 axes, including 18 phrases that simulate the difficulties of teaching science at the basic education stage, which contains 5 phrases related to the difficulties of teaching methods and 6 phrases related to educational activities, and 4 phrases related to the teacher, and finally 3 phrases related to the student, and then it was Distributing it to the research sample of the science teachers in the primary education stage in some schools in Zliten city, where70  samples were distributed and 64 samples were returned, The results   shown the most of the teachers' ages range between (32 – 38), and that most of them hold a bachelor's degree, and it was shown through the research that there are difficulties related to science teaching methods, due to the teacher's lack of modern teaching methods, and the increase in the academic load, which affects the preparation Scientific experiments, large number of students  Effective education is hindered, and the research showed that there are difficulties related to the educational activities used because they need to be developed to contribute to achieving the educational goals. There are difficulties related to the teacher because the teacher suffers from a deficiency in training courses focusing on theoretical aspects and neglecting practical aspects, also not providing a teacher's guide for teaching methods. There are also difficulties related to the student, and therefore due to the students' unwillingness to learn natural sciences, and the lack of motivation to practice activities.
